Robin Mc Guiness

I am Robin McGuiness from Ballina. I have been painting mainly in acrylics for over 30 years. In that time I have done many commission and sold lots of my artwork on line and have also donated my artwork for various fundraisers. I mainly love to paint Australian native flowers and birds often combining same in a piece. I am inspired by the beauty of nature, particularly flowers but also love seashells and am fascinated by these beautiful gifts from the sea. Lately I have been creating pieces of artwork with these beautiful sea shells from my seashell collection that I have collected over the years. I have also been creating pieces of artwork with costume and vintage jewellery that I mainly find in op shops. Also have been finding nice little frames that I use in this process. I have been enjoying a different creative process. I basically love to create whether it is painting or designing with seashells or jewellery.
